Dear Tim and Marta,
Thanks for your paper newsletter, which we read aloud yesterday after dinner and which reminded us to visit your site to see some updated family pictures. Your granddaughter is beautiful! We're blessed to read about the tremendous contributions you continue to make in Brazil. We pray our paths will continue to cross from time to time. We thank God for you both, and for your whole family!!

Brethen
I've just found this site, a lot of personal memories has just came out. : Vencedores por Cristo, Gui Kerr, Sandra, and songs, a lot of it. I myself am not able to count how many times I've played that song " Seja o meu canto... " when I was still a teenager in Osasco /SP. I've been living in USA since 1994 ( MO ).
What a big suprise ! I didn't know you're acctually Marta Kerr.
Well, I've got to go. see you latter.
May the Lord keep His face shining upon you all.

Dear Madam,

Greetings in Christ. Please excuse my bold presentation. I am a Chilean Christian, of Lutheran confession, and until recently was working in Chile, in a program of the Latin American Biblical University of San José, Costa Rica, the objective of which is to provide theological education to pastors and congregational leaders in my country who, for various reasons, have not had access until now to formal theological education.

Since July, however, I find myself living in the United States, working in a Lutheran Church in a pastoral and educational project for Latino immigrants. Now, the theological institution I worked for in Chile has asked me to write a small book in which I outline some of the rich doctrines of Protestantism for study and reflection by our brothers and sisters. What I am trying to achieve in this book is, on one hand, theological contextuality and depth, while, on the other hand, not depending exclusively on a foreign model. This book could be useful both for the Hispanic population of Latin America and for those who live in North America. I am very much interested in theological education for Hispanic people.

With respect, I would like to know if it would be possible to share the first chapter with you, so that you could read it at your convenience without any time pressure, and offer me your valued opinion. However, I should clarify that the chapter I wish to share is written in Spanish, as the entire book will be.

I will await your response.

Tim and Marta,
I'm excited that you're going to Fortaleza! It's a special a place. You'll be good for them and you'll enjoy it there -near the beach and with lots of neat folks. We were at the graduation in Dec. Four dear folks graduated-two from Bahia and two from Recife that we'll work with. Your web page is well done!
 Hurry back.
Love,
Dorothy
